Michael Peoples, Law Clerk at Peraino Malinowski LLP

Michael is a law clerk at Peraino Malinowski LLP. In his current role, Michael performs extensive legal research and drafts a wide variety of motions related to complex civil and commercial litigation issues. In addition, Michael helps draft transactional and license agreement materials.

Prior to joining Peraino Malinowski LLP, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Carolyn E. Wade, of the New York State Supreme Court, Kings County Civil Term, where he conducted legal analysis for the Court on complex litigation matters. Prior to his clerkship at the New York State Supreme Court, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lisa Hall Johnson of the District Court of Maryland, where he assisted the Court with both civil and criminal matters. Michael's judicial clerkship experiences allowed him to gain an in-depth understanding of litigation.

Michael is a graduate of the Howard University School of Law and Mercy College. As a law student, he was an extern at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Enforcement Division, where he aided staff attorneys with investigations of securities violations of investment advisors. Notably, during his time at Howard Law, he was a Student Attorney at Howard's Investor Justice Education Clinic, where he provided supervised representation to clients in matters involving broker-dealer misconduct and FINRA violations. He is admitted to the practice of law in the District of Columbia and is currently pending admission to the New York Bar.
